Success

This past weekend we went to Texas for Caroline and Ethan's wedding and to visit my family in Houston. Sean hasn't been down in a while so he was really looking forward to seeing everyone, eating lots of Mexican food and enjoying the summer Houston heat (okay, maybe I made up that last part...).

My Dad planned a fishing trip for him and Sean in Matagorda Bay, which is all they have both been talking about for weeks (boys...). They even caught 3 big Redfish that they grilled up for dinner!

On Saturday Sean and I successfully left Riley with my parents overnight and went to Galveston for the wedding. I *may* have cried as we pulled away from the driveway and maybe another time on the freeway but overall I fared much better than anticipated. I know it is so silly to have been upset but I can't help it. I am clearly turning into one of those crazy moms.

It was so nice to spend 24 hours as just "Kasey and Sean" and not "Mommy and Daddy". We didn't have to worry about when Riley needed to eat next and what, wonder if she needed a diaper change or a nap, and be able to actually wear makeup and jewelry. We're pretty lucky to have family that literally begs us to leave Riley with them and forces us out of the house to go have fun!

It was a beautiful night celebrating Caroline and Ethan surrounded by our incredible friends. Seriously, they are the greatest and I wish I still saw them EVERY. SINGLE. DAY. I am one lucky girl to have such an amazing husband and friends!

Okay now ladies, 4 down, 4 to go! Who's NEXT?????
