One Month!

Happy 1-month birthday to our beautiful baby girl! We love you so much and can't believe how much you have grown so far!

At your doctor's appointment today you weighed a whopping 6 pounds, 12 ounces! Keep growing our little eater. You are getting so strong, holding your head up by yourself to look at mommy and daddy. And during tummy time you kick your legs and try so hard to push up on your knees. Soon, baby girl, soon. Keep trying!

Riley's First Week

We can't believe Riley is already 2 weeks old! December 30 seems so far away now. After Riley was born Sunday evening, Kasey and Riley stayed in the hospital until Tuesday afternoon. It was quite the way to bring in the New Year, definitely not one we will forget!  Kasey's mom flew in Sunday when we found out Riley was coming and spent the whole week with in New York helping us get up on our feet.

Our little girl is growing, growing, growing and changing by the second! We love sitting and watching her. The precious cooing sounds, the many smiles and funny faces, her tiny fingers learning to grab at whatever is nearby.... it is all so wonderful!

Welcome Riley Anne!

Miss Riley Anne surprised us all on Sunday, December 30 by making her appearance into the world 3 weeks early (and in 2012 no less!). We are so excited she is finally here and spending every second soaking her up!
