christmas

Between new jobs and busy schedules, we planned to spend Christmas with the Cederberg's skiing for a long weekend in the Northeast. With the strange weather plaguing the North, 2 days prior, the resort cancelled skiing because we had had no snow yet. Yes, December 20th and there was no snow. Isn't this New York?
So improvisation ensued and the Cederberg's still headed north to spend the holiday weekend in New York City with us! Mom and Chris stayed just across the street from our new apartment, which made the trip very convenient.
They spent the day at the Museum of Natural History, we had lots of delicious meals, and went to the Intrepid Museum on the Hudson River. We were also able to visit the 9/11 Memorial, which is so beautiful (and just across the street!).
We hosted Christmas day in our new abode around our tiny christmas tree. It was so fun to cook breakfast and hang out all morning together! Mom and Kasey baked cookies for the doormen while Sean and Chris assembled electronics!
